A view on major labels
Here’s an interesting USA article about the role and possible values that being on a major label can offer to an artist. We think there are some good historical observations here and certainly shows that the details and terms in a contract are all important!
Being a USA article the role and importance of advertisements in media may be different than in the UK – or is it? Is the BBC the only difference now between the UK and USA with regards to advertisements? If yes, how long will this continue in the ever changing world of media and entertainment?
