PPL publishes Christmas chart

With Christmas fast approaching, PPL has released its annual 20 most played Christmas songs on TV, radio, (some) online use and also songs (recorded music) played in bars, shops, restaurants, offices etc in the UK.

There’s a new song in the top 3 this year!

The report also states that 85% of people questioned said that Christmas wouldn’t be as good without Christmas music,  95% of shoppers preferred Christmas shopping with in store music and 75% said hearing Christmas songs they liked while shopping gets them in the festive spirit.

So ‘bah humbug” to all those who moan about Christmas songs and MERRY CHRISTMAS to the rest of us!
