A view on what the future might hold
Here’s an interesting blog that explores the possible future of music and more specifically music consumption. It shares and comments on both the negative and positive views of people in and around the music industry.
There are also 2 interesting videos included, one of which is a very interesting and informative presentation from this year’s MIDEM by Mark Geiger of WME Entertainment, California, USA. He does use a lot of facts and figures that are US specific but in this increasingly globalised World we live, they are relevent to all. Well worth a watch if you are a musician or a label!
