Album Description

DEBORAH BATE is a Leeds-born singer-songwriter and ‘Trailblazer’ is her debut album release. The album is a collection of original songs, all inspired and written by Deborah during her twenties, drawing from her own life challenges and victories and documenting her personal journey of faith and her desire to communicate her encounters with and her understanding of the love and teachings of Jesus.

 

As well as being a great singer and a gifted songwriter, Deborah also shows on several of the songs on the album what an accomplished flute player she is. She states that musically the album draws on influences such as pop, jazz, folk, gospel and modern Christian worship.
