JEFF LOWE is a Staffordshire-based singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and record producer who in the 1970s began what has become a life long project of writing music to each and every Psalm in the Bible! He has now started producing recordings of these re-imagined Psalms in a wide variety of styles, occasionally bringing in guest singers and bands and releasing them under the name of ‘Jeff Lowe Psalms Project’.

Jeff says, “The plan is to hopefully initially release up to two Psalms records month with the help of long time music man, enthusiast, producer and journalist Tony Cummings which we started to do from February”

This haunting version of ‘Psalm 14 (The Fools Says In His Heart)’ features James Herring, the front man of popular Sheffield-based band ‘Speak, Brother’ on lead vocals and is the fourth single in this mammoth aid-to-biblical-meditation project which, if all goes to plan, will culminate in a series of album/book collections called ‘A Mindful Journey’ in 2020 and 2021.
