Album Description

Jeff Hammer  is a musician with a long career behind him including time as a member of  chart topping pop band of the late 80s. Since those days Jeff has gone on to carve out a career as a brilliant writer and producer of children’s songs on a whole range of subjects. He has a real skill at producing songs that kids love to sing because Jeff has written them with kids singing them in mind.

Having suppled songs and music for other companies and  labels Jeff wanted to release some of his own material himself under the name Hammer Songs. As a Christian he thought it would be a good idea to produce some songs based on famous bible stories and characters but that were first and foremost fun! The result is the 10 song album ‘King Of The Castle’ but Jeff has also created backing tracks for all 10 songs too so kids can sing along even if there’s no musicians around!
