Album Description

Tony Johnson describes himself as a devotional poet and psalmist. He lives in New Delhi, India with his wife, Linda. He has three married children and two grand children. He has been an active musician for over three decades, recording his first album ‘Colours’ in South Africa in 1989, followed by ‘Off the Edge’ in 1997 and ‘Back 2 You’ in 2005.

His latest album ‘Grace’ is a quiet, devotional and inspirational collection of prayers and psalms performed with stripped back instrumentation and gentle vocal harmonies. It was recorded in the UK with producer Julian Wiggins in 2015.

Tony states, “Worshipping God is what I love to do with and through my music and being in His presence is where I love to be. My hope is these songs will take other people to that place too. I encourage people to find a quiet place and listen.”
