Album Description

Tim is a folk singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Risca in South Wales. His songs are a reflection of his life and cover family, faith, protest and everything in between. Tim also enjoys collecting stories and turning them into songs; from true stories to folk tales and some he made up along the way!

Tim says, “They say you should write about what you know and that is very true in this case. Is it a religious album; no, is it a political album; no. It’s a Tim Crahart album. It’s about what matters to me and my faith and my politics are clearly intertwined and evident here. The joy was in bringing together the various aspects of my life and wrapping them up in these songs. Some people have even described them as being radical. I don’t know about that but in these dark times I know that I have faith, I have hope and I have an unerring belief in the potential of common folk. If that’s radical, then count me in!”

The album got a 10/10 review from UK music site CrossRhythms that concluded with –  ‘There is a raging fire burning underneath this superb album’s overriding message of love, unity and acceptance.’
