Album Description

Kev Walford is an established singer/songwriter originally from Liverpool and now based in Suffolk.  From 2013 to 2019 worked as part of a duo and band with Kelly Bayfield, but earlier this year he released a solo album “Americanarama”. 

However due to the Corona virus hitting in the spring of 2020 Kev’s son Mark moved back home during lockdown and they were able to record the tracks for this 6 song EP/mini album.  This is the first time they’d had the opportunity to work together and they are hoping this may develop into something unique over the next few months out die of the Corona virus!

Kev shares, “Mark and I recorded these songs at home during Lockdown – between March and July 2020. It was the first time we’d worked at length on some original music and because this was such an unusual, unique and special time, it felt very necessary for me to release these recordings as they were and without bringing in any outside musicians, singers or recording personnel.”

“I wrote and sung the songs and laid down all of the guitars and Mark supplied all of the keyboards and looked after the production duties. It was a great time of us working together”
