Mat – Left half of Bayfield Booth. Storyteller, singer, survivor. 3-time Suffolk Connect Four champion. Heart on sleeve, over-thinker, allergic to jigsaws. Amongst the top-2 best singer-songwriters from Framlingham. Driving 19 miles an hour down country lanes.

David – Right half of Bayfield Booth. Crafter of songs, eternally distracted multi-instrumentalist. Dad, husband, trainee yogi. Home Suffolk, roots Derbyshire Peaks, small islands obsessive. Third most famous musician from near Framlingham.

‘A New Way On’ is the debut collaborative album from two of Suffolk’s finest singer-songwriters and experienced artists and performers in their own right, recorded with the help of some relatives and musician friends. When we asked them to sum up what the album is all about they simply answered, “Songs from the heart.”
